Modern Love captures the real love stories and brings them to the digital screens. A wonderful collection of diverse love stories. Perfectly imperfectly people and their real stories. Loving and being loved. Your stories. Stories you love. Stories you want to be in.

The show is philosophical one. Captures the big themes of life as well. It is about second chances and rediscovering love and forgiveness.

Loved the songs of the series. And not to forget the opening credit sequence - amazing! Beautifully captures the different love stories.

Yes - There is room for improvement. Some stories are too predictable - easy to watch, easier to forget. The emotional arcs and the chemistry of leading pairs could have been better. And for all people looking at comparing the seasons - Yes - Maybe Modern Love Season 1 was better! Anne Hathway, Dev Patel and others gave it a big feel-good Hollywood impact. Loved the entire Dev Patel story and doorman Guzmin looking in her eyes when she introduced partners. But Season 2 expands the horizon like an Indie and captures different stories.

My favourite? The Serpentine Road one - where car is the talisman of the true love and car drives creates beautiful memories of the love.

Definitely a cool and easy watch.

Surrogacy is a great theme. Potential conflicts of who does the child belong to? Emotional, social and legal complexities. The financial machinery that can turn it into a cottage industry. Thousands of real stories exist in the surrogacy capital Anand (Gujarat). The film had the opportunity to give voices and perspectives that seldom find space on larger canvas.

Alas the film fails to deliver! The film tries to be light-hearted and comic fare - a big mistake! It resorts to stereotypical melodrama. Talent like Pankaj Tripathi, Supriya Pathak and Manoj Pahwa are wasted supporting earnest Kriti Sanon.

The only redeeming factor is A R Rahman’s music!

The movie is a project to glorify firefighter Alexey and showcase his journey as heroic. He is reunited with his estranged girlfriend and discovers about his child. While he is still figuring out how to manage the relationship, Chernobyl disaster happens. The protagonist Alexey seems to be present in all key moments of the Chernobyl disaster. The other characters or citizens are completely ignored. The casual handling of the facts for melodrama do not help.

Movies like this are a waste of time - existence of anachronism!
