MIT AITI India Summer 2012 Program

MIT AITI (Accelerating Information Technology Innovation) conducted its Mobile Technology based Incubator platform in India in July 2012. The MIT AITI India Summer 2012 program was held in association with Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

As a part of the Speaker Series, I had the honor of interaction with the creative young entrepreneurs. They had identified interesting needs and conceived strong product offerings. I was happy to share my enterprise mobility and sales experiences and insights with the young turks.

AITI is a multidisciplinary group of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) that promotes development in emerging regions by cultivating young technology entrepreneurs. AITI develops curriculum materials, software technologies, platforms, and networks that enable undergraduate students to innovate in the area of information and communication technologies (ICTs).

Interesting Stats of AITI:
• Founded in 2000
• 31 programs in 6 countries
• Over 1800 students instructed
• Over 120 MIT instructors participated
• Multiple startups founded by student groups
• Extension courses in Kenya and Rwanda

At India Summer 2012 Program, it was very heartening to note that the passion and enthusiasm of the energetic entrepreneurs was being channelized into value propositions by MIT AITI Team. More Power To Them !
